tl;dr in this thread i want to introduce x265 encoding how-to on MeGUI. My first reason is, it has smaller filesize (due smaller bitrate compared to x264) while having similiar or slightly better img quality.My arms, for always being by my side.

There are few things that need to take note for this thread.
1. If you're active encoders for On-going season, you are not allowed to release thread only using x265. You must use x264 while x265 is optional. This is because not all device type is able to do software decoding, and please remember that our downloader is not only from PC users.
2. This current tested MeGUI version for x265 is MeGUI 2715 DEVELOPMENT UPDATE SERVER. Any version that older/newer/downloaded outside this thread are ON YOUR OWN RISK. Any discussion about it is strictly prohibited. While it happen, I might purge you (your post, including who quoted you) as well.
3. Any discussion outside x265 encoding for anime on this thread is prohibited. (Ex: my subtitle translation went dank, please, animegrimoire is encoding community. If you want to complain about translation/typesetting, you just come to wrong place

) but another matter like inability to encode using exact font, or processing hevc raw into hevc lower bitrate are allowed.4. I've included Interpolation aviscript template to this MeGUI. To use it, just choose 60fps template on Aviscript creater, the rest of process are exactly identical.
At the moment, I've giving optional x265 download for Hina Logi: From Luck and Logic as example. If you're unable to see the thread, you're required to register here.
Overall installation process are not different from this thread. Or if you already installed one, you need to delete your megui folder, then cut & paste the new one. Please do not using folder merge method / overwriting old installation)
